Manchester United vs Leicester City: 5 Talking Points

Manchester United looked sharped and composed against Leicester City as the Red Devils sealed a 2:1 Victory at Old Trafford

Five Talking Points:

1)Man U looked more lethal as compared to Leicester even when the Blues had more possession in the first half. Leicester Midfield exposed United Defense but thanks to De Gea superb GoalKeeping which denied the blues an important goal.

2) United was off to a good start with Paul Pogba converting a penalty in the 2nd minute of the match,  The French International and World Cup winner lead his team as the captain before he was substituted at 80th minute.

3) The new signing Fred player quite well and was looking calm and composed. He can surely add much to Jose side which failed to sign new players in the transfer market.

4) Luke  Shaw impressed immensely especially since he took up brilliant defensive and attacking position in the match and scored the 2nd goal for the RED DEVILS before Leicester got one back.

5) Alexis Sanchez looked a bit shaky but could have got the 2nd assist if Lukaku could have converted an easy chance.

All in, it was a good match for Mourinho side seeing that the team struggled a lot in Pre-Season friendlies and the players are also disappointed with Jose after his comments in press conferences.
